Immigration Tests are done to check the stated biological relationship as a form of credible evidence along with an IV (Immigrant Visa) application.  Immigration Tests are primarily performed to verify paternity, maternity, and full-sibling relationships.

THE PROCESS OF IMMIGRATION TESTING

• You may call us first and we can help connect you with an AABB-accredited laboratory to initiate your immigration DNA case. Once the case is initiated and a case number is issued, we will schedule your collection appointment.
• Once your case is initiated, we schedule your collection appointment and collect the petitioner’s DNA sample under chain-of-custody procedures, then ship it overnight to the AABB-accredited laboratory.
• The laboratory receives the petitioner’s sample and sends a DNA kit with the same case number to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate for the beneficiary.
• The U.S. Embassy/Consulate receives the kit and schedules the collection of the beneficiary’s sample.
• The Embassy/Consulate collects the sample and ships it back to the laboratory for testing.
• The laboratory receives the beneficiary’s sample and performs the DNA testing.
• After the analysis is complete, the laboratory compiles the report and sends the results directly to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate (and/or USCIS) as required.

Samples from a foreign country

When the beneficiary’s sample is collected at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate, it is shipped directly back to the AABB-accredited laboratory for DNA analysis. Please note that in some countries, shipping fees may apply. We will inform you in advance if additional shipping costs are required.
